In reaching its conclusion that the employer has the burden to prove the reasonable factors other than age defense the Supreme Court looked at another provision of the ADEA the bona fide occupational qualification defense. The BFOQ defense states that it is not unlawful for an employer to take adverse employment actions otherwise prohibited by the ADEA where age is a bona fide occupational qualification reasonably necessary to the normal operation of the particular business. For example it would not be illegal to consider criteria for a particular role in a movie that has a disparate impact on age if the part calls for someone of a particular age. In other words the ADEA permits employers to discriminate based on age considering age is legitimately necessary under the circumstances. The Supreme Court ruled that if an employer seeks to rely on that defense. Thirty of the 44 salaried employees the company laid off were at least 27 years old. At the trial a jury found Knolls had violated the ADEA because its layoff procedure had a disparate impact based on age. Matthew 1:1-16 and Luke 3:23-38.

The genealogies of Jesus have been a source of tension and contention within the Church. Believers throughout the ages have experienced great confusion and apologetic difficulties over what appears to be nothing less than plain contradictions that come into view when studying Matthew and Luke’s account of Jesus’ pedigree.

The two primary prophecies concerning Jesus Christ’s coming were that he would be Jewish and that He would be a descendant of King David. Hence, the genealogy of Matthew shows that Jesus, as a descendant of Abraham is Jewish, and as a descendant of David inherited regality. Luke on the other hand, traces Jesus’ line back to Adam thereby stressing the humanity of Christ.

Stein support the view that Matthew’s record list the genealogical line of Joseph and Luke records the genealogy of Mary. He notes the apparently special interest Luke seems to have had in Mary as indicated by the space he allots her. Many of the difficulties these genealogies present, Stein admit are perplexing and hard to reconcile.

The purpose of Matthew’s genealogy, according to Barclay, was to prove that Jesus was the son of David and so he arranged the pedigree so as to make it easy for people to remember since few people during that time had access to actual copies. Luke, he suggests, traces the line back to the founder of the human race thereby removing the national and racial boundaries even from the ancestry of Jesus.

McKenzie concurs with Barclay. He observes the difference between the two writers for the period from David to Joseph and comments that there is no convincing explanation. He considers both genealogies however, to be highly artificial.

There are those who do not believe any discrepancy exist and are able to provide what seems like rational explanations, until scrutinized under the microscope of Biblical historical facts.

It is apparent that the discrepancy between the two genealogies constitutes a severe problem to interpreters. A final resolution to so intricate a question may be long in coming. And when it does come we may discover we made a mountain out of a molehill.

Today we have a problem, although the problem in the ongoing trials and tribulations of humankind’s need for chaos in controversy is not completely at crisis yet, it will be soon, if we fail to use that which is in our power to fix the problem. Weather control is possible, just like the airplane was possible, just like man’s first trip to the moon was possible, just like ridding the world of smallpox and polio was possible.

One could say that those diseases were created by the same god or gods which created the weather, the patterns and nature which include the patterns of the erosion, rain, weather, water, fluidic dynamics, wind, earthquakes, volcanic activity, plate tectonics, etc. why is it that mankind can not see through this logical rationale. It only makes sense that as mankind evolves into a species of higher cognition, that eventually we will become our own god or gods.

Small and relevant modifications of the earth’s system in the United States and abroad will save lives, it will allow our farmers to help feed the world, it will allow our citizens to have a higher standard of living and better quality of life and as we take what we’ve learned and freely give that knowledge to the Third World peoples.

We will find that the Third World will look up to us, respect to us and listen to what we have to say above their mythological religious based spiritual witch doctors and voodoo’isms which currently dominate their daily lives, thought process and doom their civilizations from ever getting past the Machiavellian, warlord like world which provides little if modern day human rights. The conservative approach to God and his word has a kind of trinity of truth at the heart of its doctrine. All three parts of this trinity come from the Bible but together they are what can assure us that we have found a true biblical conservatism. It is not always a failsafe and at times may still produce some controversy among the believers, but it is an altogether safer platform from which to start any search for biblical truth and the salvation of God.

The first doctrine in the trinity of truth is found in 2 Peter 3: 16…All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof for correction, for instruction in righteousness: Starting here is to fully recognize the authority, the inspiration and the infallibility of Gods word. This is also the best starting point from which to approach all second coming doctrine.

The second part of the doctrinal trinity comes from 2 Peter 1:20…Knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation: The opposite of private is public. That means there is a public interpretation among the believers. A consensus or a main stream of thought emerges concerning all Bible interpretation the world over. Just one example would be that while some think that antichrist could be only a spirit or some body politic like the UN, the larger body of Christ (the church) worldwide holds that he is just what scripture says he is…a man.

The third part of the doctrinal trinity, answers why the church arrives at generally the same interpretation all over the world. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you. 1 John 2:27a. The Holy Spirit teaches every believer around the world the same thing, God is not divided against himself. Thus a Spirit taught church says what its Father says, it hears the voice of its Savior, and it doesn’t hear every wind of doctrine. The church doesn’t cuddle up with every doctrinal new kid on the block. If we were to take the time to do the homework we could see that the main body of the church throughout the world comes up with just about the same interpretation of scripture, not counting the liberal church of course. That single Spirit taught, scripture trusting interpretation is what conservative means. If you stick to the conservative side of second coming doctrine you will find yourself outside of the confusing fray and that is exactly where God wants you to be.

What kind of religious philosophies were Jesus and his disciples studying from 29 CE – 33 CE? They couldn’t have been studying Christianity because The New Testament wasn’t completed until 325 CE (almost 300 years after the crucifixion at The Council of Nicea). They surely weren’t studying Buddhism or Hinduism, so this leaves just one possibility – they must have been studying the timeless, ancient wisdom of Jewish mysticism known as Kabbalah (which was very popular in Israel during this time).

Jesus veiled many Kabbalistic truths when he spoke to the masses (Matthew 13:34). “All these things Jesus spoke unto the multitudes in parables; and without a parable he spake not unto them” (KJV). Especially, when Jesus refers to the innermost power of the soul, he spoke in metaphors. An example of such a metaphor, is when Jesus refers to the “God-within” or illuminated soul: “The Kingdom of Heaven is within you…” (Luke 17:20-21, KJV).

He also refers to “The Father in secret”: “…pray to thy Father which is in secret…” (Matthew 6:18, KJV). This is another Kabbalistic reference to the eternal spark known as “neshamah” or the God-like quality of each individual soul.

When Jesus uses the term “Son of Man” (Mark 10:45, KJV), he is using a Kabbalistic phrase that was also used by Ezekiel and Daniel in The Jewish Bible, “For even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto….”. In Kabbalah, a “Son of Man” can be any soul that is seeking purity and divine perfection.

Paul refers to Jesus as the “the last Adam”: 1 Corinthians 15:45, “The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit” (KJV). Paul is using a well-known Kabbalistic phrase that refers to “The Adam Kadmon” or the “man” created on the sixth day in Genesis 1:27 (the first and last Adam). So, when Ezekiel, Daniel and Jesus refer to “The Son of Man”, they are specifically referring to the primordial archetype of “The Adam Kadmon”.

This title of A-dam Kad-mon is defined as, “the one and only (or only begotten) ‘Over Soul’ of all humanity.” Eventually, this first and last Adam, breaks-up (or is crucified) into trillions of “little souls”, and each one will become a “Son of Man” as it strives to reach spiritual perfection. When these trillions of souls have achieved “messianic consciousness”, they will reunite to form “the last Adam”. This “resurrection” of the last Adam Kadmon will come at “the end of the times”, which is another metaphor, meaning the end of the physical Universe (Einstein’s Big Crunch).

When examining the sayings of Jesus, it becomes apparent that he was familiar with the ancient wisdom teachings of Kabbalah, and the messianic power of each individual soul. His intended message comes straight from the heart of Kabbalistic philosophy: “through the power of your own soul, you will find ‘The Kingdom of Heaven within’.”

Kabbalah has become extremely popular due to Madonna and her Hollywood friends embracing this mystical philosophy.
