UK Rapper Sparks Row after Sending Abusive Text Messages to Radio Listener

N-Dubz rapper Dappy has ignited controversy after purportedly sending abusive messages to a Radio one listener. The band are currently attempting to break the USA and the news has meant that US record companies are now wondering whether to stick with the band or not. The group are riding high in the charts with their Playing With Fire hit single.

According to reports, the rapper sent abusive messages to 22-year-old Chloe Moody earlier on after she sent a SMS message to The Chris Moyles Show which branded the group “losers” and described Dappy as “vile” and “a boy with a daft hat”.

The urban band were appearing as guests on Moyles’s programme at the time and it is assumed that Dappy, actual name Dino Contostavlos, noted down Moody’s telephone number after spotting it on a P. C. screen. It is claimed that one SMS message afterwards sent from Contostavlos to Moody read : ”Your going to die, U sent an exceedingly bad message towards Ndubz on The Chris Moyels show yesterday Morning and because of this u will never get left alone!! If u say sorry I’m going to leave you alone u ****.” Moody, who claims that she received further revolting messages and calls, informed the Daily Mail : “It’s scaring when anyone sends you a death threat, whether or not it is real or not. Someone of a frail mind and nervous would be troubling what they were intending to do. “His behavior is lazy and I’m considering going to the police.

When you put yourself in the eye of the public you must be able to handle criticism. I also feel let down by Radio 1.” Contostavlos has issued a public apology for his behavior, while BBC managers are predicted to launch an inquiry into the break of Moody’s privacy. In an announcement, the hip hop star asserted : “I absolutely apologize to Chloe.

I called her in the heat of the instant when I was annoyed, but that’s no excuse for my behavior. I am really sorry. I’d also like to send my sincerest apologies to Radio 1.” In the meantime , a BBC speaker commented : “We were not aware the number had been taken from the production team’s console and will take steps to guarantee it can’t occur again.”.
