Five Good Reasons to Watch the Lion King Musical

Disney’s stage adaptation of the beloved classic ‘The Lion King’ is now being performed in London’s West End. The stageshow fuses singing, dancing along with stunning scenery and costumes to produce a breathtaking stageshow. Viewers will delight in listening to recognizable songs from the movie, along with various brand new songs written specially for the musical edition. After everything considered, the Lion King Musical offers amazing amusement for all age ranges. In the early 1990s, it appeared like the industry of theatre was crashing and burning. Along with the expenditures of creating a musical theatre show increased heavily, few people were eager to pay for high in price theatre tickets when they may just as conveniently visit the movie theatre for a small percentage of the price. Luckily, Disney rescued the struggling Broadway landscape, first with a stage edition of Beauty in the Beast, and after that a stageshow of the Lion King. Now, this flamboyant modern musical can be seen at a number of venues, including the Lyceum Theatre, based in London’s West End. Here are five reasons why you should be present at this spectacular show. 1. Alluring to All Age groups Evidently, the Lion King is a success with kids. But the rhythmic music and sophisticated plot makes it an enjoyable production for grownups too. Young adults will appreciate reliving memories of the first time they saw the movie as children. 2. Prize Winner The Lion King has had a number of famous awards, including eleven Drama Desk awards and six Tony awards. Additionally, it was nominated for a further five Tony awards. Any show that is the recipient of this volume of awards is obviously worth experiencing. 3. Brand-new Songs Everybody loves the songs from the movie rendition of the Lion King. A lot of the favourites features from the movie are incorporated which you can sing along with, such as ‘Be Prepared,’ ‘Circle of Life,’ ‘I Just Can’t Wait To Be King,’ and ‘Hakuna Matata,’ are featured in the West End stageshow. But there are also several brand new songs that were written for the musical adaptation. These brand-new songs include ‘Endless Night,’ ‘Shadowland,’ and ‘One By One.’ 4. Amazing Costumes One might wonder how a musical production of the Lion King is able to represent creatures along the lines of giraffes and zebras while using human beings as actors. This task was done along with the help of several excellent costume designers. It is exciting to see the costumes, which are both complicated and easy. The wonderful thing about these costumes is that they manage to express human characteristics while holding onto vital animalistic elements. This anthropomorphic balance between animal and human helps keep the story believable. 5. Unique Scenery There a count of complicated scenes in the Lion King that may not work without the use of complex scenery and props. One such scene is the stampede, during which wildebeast props on rollers generate an effective feeling of danger along with the animals racing towards you giving the illusion of depth. Together with great music, lovely costumes and unique scenery, the Lion King musical is one of the most entertaining shows in decades. A must see for adults and children alike!
